After our first night at oasis, was pretty disappointed with a few things regarding the cleaning. Raised the concerns with owner who was very helpful. We were happy with our stay the next night. Very good service, would recommend to anyone as a budget apartments , I am very glad the manager was friendly and helpful and willing to fix concerns that were brought to him. Will be coming back to the apartments everytime in Cairns. Very nice pool as well , very happy with the understanding of the manager.

Apartments are spacious and located close to shops and the city centre . Good service. Agree that the place is a bit old, but the service provided is really good .Kind and friendly owner. We stayed as a big group of families and enjoyed it especially the pool.

Service was very simple, direct and uncomplicated. Cleanliness was good, pool was great, only the room facilities could be slightly improved. Create more space in the corner of the refrigerator with shelves. But otherwise everything is pretty perfect. A bit far from the center, but okay.

This review is for Mike. Mate you are doing great job by servicing tourists like us local or even overseas travelers. The place needs reno. however, with the convenience of budget and the service, this is good (won't say better or best). Thanks Mike for being such kind host and guide. :-)

Very basic and clean rooms however the whole establishment is in dire need of renovation. The shower was too short, the bathroom sinks were scratched and worn, the sink tap pressure was a jet, the bed was rock hard and wiry. There's little to no sound insulation in the room so you can hear everything. Yes it was next to a busy road but the traffic should not be heard as loud indoors. I know the owner is probably doing his best but an update on the amenities would be beneficial. We unfortunately didn't get a lot of sleep. Wasn't terrible but could be improved.

No sleep, other guests & traffic way too noisy all night, room was reasonably clean enough, the lounge was too small, old & very uncomfortable, the room, loo & shower old & dated, curtains were really dirty, smoking outside rooms was offensive & DISGUSTING. The manager was pleasant & happily cancelled the rest of our stay & refunded our money. Close to airport & pub, but definitely won't be staying there again!

Very shabby: many broken floor tiles in bathroom and main area, mean amenities, and the secure parking area was so difficult to manoevre in we decided to park in the street. |A reasonable location but poor value for the money.

A place that is great to rest awhile..yes it has many years behind it but the rooms are plenty big enough we had a studio apartment which had 2 reclining chairs a large double bed & kitchen table 2 chairs fullsize fridge freezer full-time gas stove microwave jug toaster cooking pots n pans n even a kitchen sink as well as a small but adequate bathroom & toilet. Overhead fan kept the room cool whilst one watched the TV or there was an air-conditioning one could use as well. There was a table n chairs outside unit which looked onto a great swimming pool & a free BBQ. There was laundry facilities out the back & some car parking spots. Nothing was any trouble for the owner..ask and you will receive...service with a smile if you cared to rest awhile. On a main road but traffic noise was OK and not far from anywhere.. plenty of places to replenish supplies nearby.
